Our COVID-19 Protocols

Understanding COVID-19, how it spreads, and how we can protect ourselves and others is an important first step in establishing classroom procedures and protocols. Our COVID-19 policies illustrate our mission of always making your child’s safety our number one priority.

Bouncin Bees, it’s teachers and staff will do everything in our power to keep children safe from COVID-19.  We are aware that they are a very special population who cannot currently be vaccinated so as a result we have developed COVID-19 policies that will be observed in addition to any policies our partner locations have in place.

Bouncin Bees’ Teachers

Our teachers and anyone who comes in contact with your child are fully vaccinated and will remain masked while with your children.  Teachers will wash or sanitize their hands before picking up students from their classroom, after returning students to their classroom and during class if needed.  In the event that one of our teachers becomes sick, every effort will be made to get a substitute teacher.  If that is not possible, a make-up class will be scheduled as per our cancelation policy.

Bouncin Bees’ Students

The CDC recommends regularly washing hands or the use of hand sanitizer as the most reliable way to prevent infection.  Students will wash their hands, under adult supervision, before leaving their classroom or joining the group; before returning to their classroom or anytime they are visibly dirty.  Masking of students will follow the policy of our partner locations.

Cleaning Procedures

According to the CDC, although COVID-19 can land on surfaces, in most situations the risk of infection from touching a surface is low.  Although the CDC has said that cleaning once a day is usually enough to sufficiently remove the virus from surfaces, all Bouncin Bees, LLC equipment is thoroughly cleaned before and after each class.  When feasible, we are using single use disposable props so there is no chance of cross contamination.  When using multi-use props such as scarves, that prop is cleaned according to CDC recommendations and will only be used by one child.  Multi-use props will be thoroughly cleaned and reused another day. Tumbling mats will be cleaned before and after each class.  When student hands are dirty or have come in contact with their bodily fluids, students will be asked to sanitize hands before touching the mats or equipment.

Confirmed Case Policy

If there is a confirmed case of COVID-19 Bouncin Bees will follow our partner location’s policies. If you or one of your household members tests positive, we ask that you notify our office at hellobouncinbees@gmail.com or 201.691.8866 so we may take appropriate precautions to prevent spread to other students and instructors.

Unless specified here, we will be following and deferring to our partner locations COVID-19 policies. If you have any concerns or questions, please feel free to contact us at hellobouncinbees@gmail.com or 201.691.8866. Our number one priority is the wellness and safety of your child.
